My stay at the Harbour Rocks Hotel was unforgettable, and it’s easy to see why this is considered one of the best hotels in Sydney from the moment you walk into the lobby.
One of the coolest boutique hotels in town, the property was built back in 1887 and boasts just 59 rooms and suites. The intimate spot is much cosier than some of the sleeker luxury hotels set along the harbour, with unique and well-appointed rooms offering views of the harbour or city centre.
One of my favourite parts of staying at this hotel was dining at the on-site Tayim Restaurant. The Middle Eastern-influenced restaurant boasts a delicious menu (don’t leave without trying the fried feta-stuffed olives) and has a lovely outdoor patio nestled on a quiet side street.
